Year 6 Enjoy an Unforgettable Adventure at Lea Green

Our Year 6 pupils recently enjoyed an unforgettable residential trip to Lea Green, where they took part in a wide range of exciting activities designed to build teamwork, resilience and independence. The visit provided a valuable opportunity for pupils to challenge themselves, support one another and create lasting memories.

Across the week, children tackled a number of outdoor activities that encouraged them to step outside their comfort zones. On the low ropes course, pupils worked together to navigate obstacles, building trust and cooperation with their classmates. The zip line offered an exhilarating experience, while the climbing tower tested determination as pupils pushed themselves to reach new heights.

The stream walk allowed pupils to explore the natural environment and practise navigating uneven terrain. The night walk, meanwhile, added an extra sense of adventure as children experienced the outdoors in a completely different way, developing confidence and independence.

Archery introduced a new skill that required focus, precision and patience, and the buggy rides added a fun and energetic element to the week. Throughout every activity, pupils demonstrated determination and a willingness to try new challenges.

Alongside the outdoor programme, pupils enjoyed time in the play area and soft play, giving them the chance to unwind, laugh together and strengthen friendships.

The trip to Lea Green was a fantastic experience for Year 6 and supported their personal growth both individually and as a team. Pupils represented the school brilliantly, showing enthusiasm, cooperation and a positive attitude throughout the entire residential.
